Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I’m originally from New York, which is where I began my journey to become an ABA therapist. That is where I first fell in love with working with kids with special needs.
I’ve been an RBT for eleven years now and with Innovative Behavior Options for almost two. I’ve worked with other ABA therapy providers in the past, but IBO is the first one that truly feels like the perfect fit.
What interested you initially about this type of work?
I love working with children – it has always been my passion! I enjoy getting to know the kiddos I work with and their personalities, and I love teaching them and seeing their progress.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
The people! I appreciate the support I get from the IBO staff, and I love the children we work with.
What is the best part of your week?
Every day is the best part. Every day is different.
What’s the most interesting thing you’ve learned recently?
I have learned that you can always grow and learn from children. There is always room to grow in this field.
What puts a smile on your face?
Seeing my clients progress and watching them learn and knowing that I helped with that process.
